Betsy Ings is the founder and managing director of both Siyaloba Training Academy and Tradelane. Tradelane’s vision is to make a sustainable, quantifiable impact in the economy by promoting viable growth of small enterprises and women entrepreneurs.
She is an internationally accredited programme provider to various United Nations organisations, a facilitator of Women Entrepreneur Development and Leadership and an International Labour Organization Women Entrepreneur and Community Development Specialist. Betsy is also an ILO Master Trainer in Social Enterprise Development.
Betsy is a key note speaker, she serves on various boards, represents women and communities on national and international forums and she is the recipient of a few prestigious awards including:
· The Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa’s National Business Achievers Award for the Social Entrepreneur in 2009
· The Royal Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth’s Meritorious Service Award in 2010
· Business Partners Certificate of Recognition honouring exceptional achievement in 2011
· She has recently/2016 returned from Italy – she was invited to share her input for the development of training material for social entrepreneurs worldwide by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organisation.
