Carmen Di Rito graduated from the University of Witswatersrand’s School of Education (then known as the Johannesburg School of Education) with a Bachelor degree in Education. She has contributed significantly to the vision and strategic growth of the organisation. Carmen is currently the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and serves on the LifeCo UnLtd Trust as a trustee. LifeCo UnLtd develops a humanised, purpose-centred individual who is a critical thinker and practitioner. Dialogue, debate, practice and capital are LifeCo's process accelerators informed by 28 years of research and development and 18 years of implementation and practice. It also finds, funds and supports impact entrepreneurs. It is an impact enterprise itself – 100% owned and governed by a trust, the group has R110m in assets, operates nationally and has reached over 80 000 students and over 4000 young entrepreneurs to date, with over 100 established entrepreneurs in its network currently. LifeCo is currently establishing a R100m Social Impact Fund. In her capacity as CDO she is responsible for the Operations and Impact within the group across all Business Units.
