Muhammad Seedat began an early entrepreneurial journey, before serving his articles, studying concurrently and qualifying as a Professional Accountant. He worked in the corporate world before moving to the UK, gaining valuable experience and insight. Returning to SA, Muhammad founded and bootstrapped an integrated professional services firm as well as creating Africa’s largest co-working space, realising his passion of backing start-ups.
He serves as Managing Director of the Smartrac Group and sits on a number of boards. He is the founder of SmartSpace as well – a coworking and incubation space which they are planning to aggressively roll out nationally and into Africa
Muhammad believes that entrepreneurs are made, not born and founded the Smartrac Academy of Entrepreneurship to promote this.
